How does the AI photo detector work?

Pro users receive the full analysis detail.

How do I check if my email was hacked or in a data breach?

In the My Safety tab of Scam Shield, type your email address and tap Check. The app queries multiple breach intelligence databases and returns a list of any known breaches that include your email, along with the data types exposed. The check is free. Pro users can save their email for daily automated monitoring — you'll get an alert the moment a new breach is detected.

What is k-anonymity and how does Scam Shield use it for password checks?

K-anonymity is a privacy technique that lets you check sensitive data against a database without revealing the actual value. Scam Shield hashes your password with SHA-1, then sends only the first 5 characters of that hash to the breach database. The server returns all hashes that start with those 5 characters, and your device checks the full hash locally. Your real password and full hash never leave your phone. This same method is used by Have I Been Pwned.

Can I scan links from WhatsApp, email, or other apps?
